Who We Are

Hello!

Cookeville Art Studio & Gallery was originally founded in 1961 as the Cumberland Arts Society by Reba Bacon, an associate professor at Tennessee Tech University, with 68 charter members. From the beginning, the organization’s purpose was to promote art in the Upper Cumberland region through quality instruction and community engagement.

Cookeville Art Studio & Gallery is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit art organization located in Cookeville, Tennessee. The studio is supported by its members and generous friends of the arts, with additional funding from the Tennessee Arts Commission and the Cookeville Arts Council. All donations are tax-deductible.
